The foundation for the Wolfgang Ecker Gesellschaft m.b.H. was laid 1965th At the time Heinz Ecker took over a small factory in the 11th District of Vienna. Besides the usual stone carvings gave him his commitment to restoration, preservation and renovation of a close and longstanding cooperation with the Archdiocese of Vienna. After his unexpected and early death in 1977 his widow, Hildegard, the company continued to lead until it was acquired in 1989 by Wolfgang Ecker, the son of Heinz and Hildegard. He changed the operation, who was then employed about 15 staff to a GmbH. 1992 for reasons of space we moved into the Lower Traiskirchen. Today, 50 employees offer a full range of stone carvings for indoor and outdoor and all work for the preservation of historic buildings.
